Blood Bane

No sin more delicious
nor pleasure more desirable
than the raging of youthful hormones
as lips meet, tongues dance
twisting, twirling. Intertwined in teasing
warm minty saliva shared in secluded darkness
rushed sweaty palms glide
across eager heated flesh, bringing forth
new, yet instinctively familiar sounds;
tainted air fills with
forbidden notes to past suppressed music.
Heavy breathing fades to soft sighs, only
To return in earnest as moans
Giving way to whispered promises,
spiced with rapture,
of deeper emotional connections
Shared blood and passions
boil with intoxicated excitement
Mingled with timid horror
Should the world discover
They find their greatest pleasure
within their sweetest sin
Calling kindred both
brother and
lover.

Author's Comments

This is my first version of this poem...I'm in the middle of reworking it, but I love this version too and wanted to share it.

I wrote this about a specific subject (and no I didn't mean to 'shock' anyone)...Anyway, it always interests me to hear what other people think about it, or what it means to them...so if you do read please leave a little comment of your thoughts? Thanks
